Helping a Mother in Need...and maybe getting the kid's
name?
(IsraelNN.com) For Nachshon commander Lieutenant Adi
Shuldberg and IDF paramedic Sgt. Shelly Wells, it was a regular
Sabbath until Sigalit Ben-Natan, 33, a resident of Einav in
northern Samaria arrived.
Sigalit explained she was in active labor, with her fourth
child. Wells examined her and it did not take long to realize
there was no time to make the trip to Meir Hospital in Kfar
Saba.
Lt. Shuldberg ordered his men to protect the Sigalit’s three
children while ordering a MDA ambulance along with a military
ambulance. In the meantime, Sgt. Wells began preparations for
Sigalit to deliver.
Sgt. Wells delivered the couple’s boy who, they report, is as
healthy as his mom. Lt. Shuldberg asked the proud dad to
consider naming their new son Nachshon after their unit. Mr.
Ben-Natan promised to consult with his wife.
